Synopsiss[]
Nucky finally reveals the tragic deaths of his wife and baby son to Margaret, who eventually takes him back. Van Alden learns he is going to be a father, after his one night stand with Lucy. Rothstein also reconciles with Nucky so he can benefit from Thompson's political influence. In return Rothstein gives up the D'Alessio Brothers. Nucky shows his and his political parties long grasp by bringing them all to justice right before the election. With news of the police departments success, the republicans sweep the election. Surprisingly, Nucky gives his brother Eli the position of sheriff once again...not that it eases Eli's mind. He is tired of being in his brothers shadow and makes a deal with the devil (The Commodore) and Jimmy to take down Nucky.
